It’s the holidays so Charleville Bilby Experience is closed
Our Charleville Bilby Experience is now closed for the 2024/2025 Holidays. We have loved having you all visit and learn and experience the plight of bilbies with us.
The Charleville Bilby Experience offers a must-see show! But you will just have to wait until next year to join a tour of our nocturnal house and see some super cute bilbies during their night-time activities. After an engaging talk by one of our keepers, you will understand more about the plight of this delightful eco-engineer and exactly why they are worth saving from extinction. Keep an eye out on our socials. Because we will let you know of our tour dates and re-opening times in 2025.
It’s mighty hot out here at this time of year, so we have packed up the bilbies and let them have a rest from their daily performances. As you know, in our nocturnal house, we have them on a reverse cycle, their night is our day. So, on their Summer Holiday, they get to go back to their normal cycle of seeing a true night. They will be one of the first to see Santa fly over!
